This years official Mash festival beer is a three way collab with Yakima Chief Hops and White Labs and it's a stonker. Using a pair of new ingredients, one hop product and one a novel yeast strain, we have brewed the juiciest of the juicy. Yakima Chief YCH303 is a cryo hop blend of Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe which is enriched with Phantasm for a massive boost of Thiol precursors. Added in whirlpool, before the beer was sent off to be fermented with White Labs new thiol liberating yeast strain WLP077 Tropicale. These two ingredients in concert release very aroma active thiols providing a huge hit of tropical passion fruit and grape character.
