Ompahan hyvää sahtia. Täyteläisen antiikkinen jossa alkoholi ei maistu.

Okay, let me finish today's tasting with a Sahti. This Sahti has been brewed specifically for this occasion, hence "POV". The color is turbid, medium-brown. Like raisin. A mellow gray reflection waves in the glass. No carbonation but a surprisingly long-lived beige soapy lacing decorates the surface. The nose receives copious rye flour. Not sweet but not entirely dry either. Powdery, I would suggest. Dry rye bread maybe, a tad juniper berry as well as a suggestion of dried apricot. The taste fools me big time: so many decimals sweeter than what the olfactory sector would propose. Rye cracker, biscuit, mandarin... Remote strawberry joins the cocktail in the end. The body is medium-full though. Nice! The finish is sweet-leaning biscuity, rye crackery and reasonably fruity. Alcohol can't be felt but a remote nuance finds the tastebuds at this phase. The end comes after a while, not too long though. The mouthfeel is medium-full, lip-glueing, satiating, powdery but also distantly dry, as well. Does the job but can't blow my mind.
