Cask consumers are increasingly demanding new, lower ABV and differing styles of cask ale. Combining our wonderful raw materials with nearly two hundred years of brewing expertise we have developed Theakston Quencher. A fabulous, deceptively full-bodied cask ale with refreshing floral and fruit hop character, at 3.4% ABV, ideal for a refreshing thirst quencher on hot days or when a driving thirst demands it!

Light citrus flavours and decent amount of hops. Perfectly drinkable for a relatively low alcohol ale.

How was it? Refreshing, definitely refreshing. Not abundant with with flavour, but nice. Slightly fizzier than I'd have expected. A reasonable hint of citrus, with a nice bittery finish. When you're famous for such a legendary ale as Old Peculiar, it must be hard to keep that sort of standard. Still, a decent drop for a session ale.

Way better than before. Same details as before but it's way more creamy and fruity than before, good barstaff 👍🏼. Still a good session ale that's totally quaffable.

Not bad for a light ale, bit watery as expected but still good 👍🏻

Standard session beer. Hints of citrus in the aroma and flavour. Reasonable session beer.

It's a nice, easy-going, almost see-through, English session beer.
