Nyt ollaan todellisen brittiklassikon äärellä. Tumman puhuva väri ja asiallisen olematon vaahto. Vehnä tuo mukavan lisän makuun. Jopa paranee hiukan normaalia lämpimämpänä. Mausta paljastuu tarkalla maistelulla monia toisiaan tukevia vivahteita.

Musta, vaaleanruskea vaahto. Pehmeä, miellyttävä, paahteinen. Jännittävä, hieman yrttinen humalointi. Kiva olut

Upea ja omalaatuinen! Marjahilloisuutta, toffeeta, pehmeää paahdetta…

How was it? Refreshing, definitely refreshing. Not abundant with with flavour, but nice. Slightly fizzier than I'd have expected. A reasonable hint of citrus, with a nice bittery finish. When you're famous for such a legendary ale as Old Peculiar, it must be hard to keep that sort of standard. Still, a decent drop for a session ale.
