This Oude Geuze has aged for 4 years in foeder nr. 16 and shows that extra ageing adds extra dimensions to the taste. VAT 16 has a clear wine-like character. Next to its fruitiness, you will notice slightly herbal flavours and the typical vanilla and caramel notes originating from the oak foeder. Brewed on 9 jan. 2017, bottled on 19 april 2021
