Probably #1 beer mecca in ๐ฑ๐บ. Something like Pien in ๐ซ๐ฎ. Hah, I can see Salama cans in the fridge.
The beer colors semicloudy, deep amber. Carbonation is a tad reserved but produces a minuscule-bubbled off-white head that rises one finger high. The short retention maims the froth soon to a thin haze only.
A piney and especially resinous scent. Yes, bowls of resin. Grapefruit peel, dried apricot in a small amount, oat cracker, biscuit, dough. Those elements can be recognized in the fragrance. Nice. A classical journey ahead!
The taste follows suit: powerful resin yet fresh citrusy flavors like grapefruit, pulp and peel, apricot, probably also dried, oat cracker โ okay, not a fruit. And yes, a drop of mandarin juice. A lovely joyride!
The body is medium. Maybe one decimal bigger but not exactly medium-full. Whatever. The end is resinous and citrusy, quite juicy actually, not as enamel scratching as I first thought. Easy, in effect.
The mouthfeel is medium, juicy, relatively smooth, not really soft but not crisp either, rather something inbetween. Medium-dry and a bit drying, as well. Starts promising but fails to bring crescendo to the end with the head up high. Good though.
