Ihan mukavan raikas vehnäolut, jossa vivahde korianteria ja appelsiiinia havaittavissa.

It's the final countdown... Well not final but a countdown of a kind anyway. The beer is called "Daisies" but it doesn't contain daisy. The style is a Witbier. As a matter of fact, all the daisies outdoors have died and won't come up again until the next summer. The color of the beer is relatively hazy straw. Carbonation is ridiculously overwhelming as the emerging froth fills the entire glass. Nevertheless, the foamy tower settles down gradually to a thin lacing on the top. The scent is style-obedient: hefty wheat malt, a bit of flour, orange peel and a lemony twist. Springlike for sure. The taste is intriguing: very fruity and fresh with loads of orange peel that merges with ample wheat malt. Lemon zest, biscuit and a suggestion of coriander seeds join the forces with the original establishment. Solid flavorful package! The body is light-medium to medium. Very good! The finish is identical to upfront. The aftertaste tells me that I'm crazy, but I'll never let 'em change me, 'til they cover me in daisies. The mouthfeel is medium-full, truly soft, smooth, springlike and refreshing. Effervescent for sure. Moderate dryness can also be sensed. All in all, a very attractive Witbier that flushes easily my smoked trout down.

Olut on väriltään samea, kullankeltainen ja vaahtoa kertyi vajaa pari sormellista kun oluen kaatoi lasiin. Tuoksu vehnäinen, appelsiinin kuorinen, mausteinen. Maku on vehnäinen, appelsiinin kuorinen, korianterinen. Ihan kiva ja mukavan raikas witbier!

Perinteinen witbier. Melko hiivainen tuoksu ja jälkimakukin.
