Barley wine for the 1st of May. Cloudy, dark brown beer that doesn't penetrate light. Yellowish, beige round rim of foam along the edges of the glass. Scent is to sweet malts, dates and salty licorice. Taste is almost too sweet and syrupy with flavors of sugary malts, figs and dates. Just perfect for the first of May.
