Second day in Texas. More beer and more playoff football.
The pour was thick and heavy. Plenty of effervescence and tan head. Maple appears immediately followed by cinnamon. Background notes of vanilla that adds a smooth balance. Becomes dry on the finish.
Several breweries have made beers called French Toast. This one actually tastes like it. Abita did good.

Very smooth stout with a sweet start followed by a traditional stout finish. I don’t taste the reference to French toast, but it does have a sweetness. Very easy drinking for an 8% stout.
