Here we are on day 5 of the Aldi's 24 Day Advent Calendar. Ryan and I are apprehensive about this sour but here we go. Apparently State of Brewing loves to put plenty of carbonation in their beers. Another high and frothy head. Aroma is tart with citrus lime. Yellow color with a splash of orange, lightly hazy. Thin texture, each seem to be a little light on flavor. Taste has a distinct lemon lime quality, as if you took a 7-Up and blended it with an IPA. Finish turns a little tart and then disappears. I'm not fond of sours but this one is okay. Not an overpowering burst of tart but subtle and smooth enough that I actually enjoyed it. Surprising!
