Number three on the Aldi Advent Calendar. First two were a little below average so hoping this one will be better. Very high meringue style frothy head. Wheat aroma with notes of bread and clove. Light yellow color with only a misty touch of cloudiness. Not a strong flavor with the clove and wheat malt as the predominant flavors. As the middle arrives a pity lemon peel bitterness takes over. Finish adds a sour acidic characteristic. Not my favorite category but they did a decent job with this one. Not a great beer but it's definitely okay and drinkable.
