No nyt tärppäsi! Erittäin hyvä. Tosi hedelmäinen, muttei liiaksi. Tällaisia lisää.

Samea keltainen liemi. Matalahappoinen kirpakka mehu. Citra on pääosissa ja maltaat tulee jäljessä suuhun, humalan tulessa kuitenkin tekemään pienen puraisun vielä lopuksi. Hieman ehkä liikaa sitrusta, mutta ei häiritsevästi.

Orange peel, tangerine, herbs, mango and pineapple. Not all my favourite aromas or flavours but this is smooth, bit sweet, tasty, easy drinking and fresh. I do like this.

Finally: summer vacation! I modified the dates and duration a bit but here it is eventually! 🍺 It will be much needed, I can assure you. The beer pours entirely foggy. The color seems to be close to mellow yellow (I googled the color). Looks tropical and juicy. Carbonation is balanced but obviously hides a good amount of internal strength as the emerging off-white whipped-creamy head grows three fingers tall. Retention has a medium duration, the head contracts to a thin lace ring and haze on the top. Citra signals its presence beautifully: bags of lemon pulp and a bit of tangerine but also pineapple and some firm mango. 💛 Wheat malt is distant but oat flakes can be easily recognized. The taste profile is attractive. It reminds me of the brewing skills that some breweries seem to have more than many others. Mikerphone is known for quality beers, I have unfortunately experience of only three of their beers. They are all Imperial Pastry Stouts and scored very high. Therefore, I have all the reason to expect a lot of this beer, too. Now the flavors: I'm picking zesty pineapple and lemon pulp, much less orange and a tiny injection of tangerine. Although this is clearly citrusy, I can still spot mango and even cantaloupe in the gustatory manifesto. 💛💛💛 Oat flakes, again, win the malt-side race, followed by a suggestion of wheat malt. Further, I'm wondering if there's a whisper of lactose in this... on one hand, I would say "no" but, on the other hand, the cocktail is suspiciously soft and even faintly sweet, which hints at lactose. Well, remains a mystery. The body is light-medium to medium. Astonishingly thick, given this clocks merely 5.5 %. But: quality is quality. The finish offers pineapple, lemon pulp, a suggestion of tangerine and a pinch of grass as a new element. The aftertaste rocks the microphone, carries on with the freestyler, straight from the top of my dome. The mouthfeel is light-medium, juicy, somewhat tropical, relatively soft and smooth. It's also truly pulpy, refreshing, balanced, modestly crisp but also slightly lip-glueing, as well as crushable. Yes, crushable! This #summerbeer22 deserves such an attribute. This could easily be 7–8 %. Very appealing stuff! Rating takes into account the low ABV, as usual.
