3.5% Sour / Wild Ale
Lemon sherbet sour. The third iteration in our sweet shop mini series. We continue to nod at our favourite sour sweets from childhood. This time we’ve used lemon sherbet drops as inspiration for this invigorating and refreshing sour. Lemon zest adds a tongue tingling sharpness whilst additional lactose mellows out the tartness for a sweet rounded finish.

It’s an easygoing lemon sour. As the tin states “additional lactose mellows out the tartness” but I would have preferred that full on lemon kick. And at 3.5% it’s something you can drink all summer evening.

Not great base beer and not very sour imo but do get the lemon drops aftertaste
