One for the road! I saw that this was tapped like half an hour ago, so it must be FRESH! At least the beer looks lovely: foggy, orange-juice-colored. Unfortunately, the airy head that used to exceed one finger decided to descend before I stopped my interaction with the bar manager and returned to the table. Now it looks less fluffy, almost gone, well, some remnants still decorate the rim though. Orange is the first element that I pick in the scent. Sweet mushy mango and nectarine follow right behind. The cocktail is very balmy as if lactose was added to the brew. Can't tell. The taste receptors enjoy loads of mango, nectarine, orange, tangerine and a suggestion of papaya. Papaya's normally stale flavor is nowhere, just the mushy fruit is present. Oat flakes are obvious. The freshness gives me modest hop burn, which is thumbs up from me. 👍🏻 The body is medium-full to full. Really really nice! Remember, this is not more than 7.7 %. The finish is tropical fruity, I don't feel much reduction in fruitiness, neither do I receive more citruses and hoppy aromas. The nectar carries neatly up to it the end. The mouthfeel is rather full, tropical, juicy, soft and smooth. It's extraordinarily refreshing, crushable for sure, thick and a bit crisp. Well crafted, solid package! I'm glad that I got to taste this so fresh. +0.2 stars extra for the big body in relation to the ABV. 💛💛 The billboard says this is a DIPA, I would rather bet for a NEDIPA.
