SD Besties is our take on a liquid Neapolitan treat with notes of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla you'll want to share with your BFF. We hope when you drink this beer, you'll think of simpler times when it was all about meeting up with your bestie and some damn good times.

Brought this back from Texas to enjoy with my son-in-law on Duo. We've both been looking forward to this Belching Beaver brew.
Small effervescent head, seems to pour thin. Not much aroma, has a cola quality. Texture is indeed not heavy for an imperial stout. Flavor begins with a roasted dark chocolate, bittersweet but more on the sweet side. Very faint notes of vanilla in the background. Finish reveals it's strawberry characteristics. Still retains some of the chocolate and becomes a little more bitter.
I had high hopes and thus high expectations. It doesn't live up to that. A decent beer but I was hoping for a home run. Just a little above average.
