Röstigraben Brassin 2022 – Müesli Edition
6.3% Spiced Beer
Collaboration with Dr. Brauwolf & 7Peaks.

Clear amber beer with brave carbonation creates a whipped-creamy head that thickens up to two fingers. Retention is reasonable as the foamy hat shrinks to an uneven erratic haze on the top. The lacing bends upwards against the glass. Milk chocolate is the first element that I capture in there fragrance. Oat and wheat flakes accompany it, seasoned with a sigh of rice crispies. Granola is the impression I'm getting. The taste offers wheat flakes and oat flakes, in this order. Oat has a gentle roasted vibe. Cacao nibs are pretty easily recognizable but the flavor is not chocolatey, it's rather like unrefined cacao. The package is interestingly grainy, as a matter of fact like granola. The body is medium. The finish leaves behind more bitter flavors, both grainy and citrusy. Also somewhat musty. The aftertaste eats granola daily and enjoys a healthy stomach. The mouthfeel is medium-full, a tad crisp, distantly roasty, slightly dry and more drying. Something different. Not particularly appealing alone but would probably work nicely as a meal accompaniment. NOTE: The barcode leads to "DeLorean" by the same brewery.
