In Texas with family, enjoying having them cooking me fabulous meals each night. Also enjoying sharing more Texas beers. Dark brown color, short creamy head. Sticking to the glass. Deep sweet malt aroma. Light soft texture. Flavor brings strong malt, deep roasted coffee with just enough sweetness to balance it out. Identical flavor continues through the finish turning slightly dry. Started with low expectations but have enjoyed this beer. Not overpowering but just right for a stout to be combined with a meal and not dominate it. Going to enjoy this with a huge Texas hamburger.
