At my son's house getting ready for the super bowl. He bought a cool house stout for us to split. Deep brown color with medium high very dark head. Coffee like aroma. Light and thin texture. Dry with deep roasted malt, has a roasted coffee type bitterness. Finish turns even more dry with some subtle raw hazelnut notes. Has all the qualities of an Irish Stout. I just prefer my stouts a little sweeter but this is a very good example in its category.
