new beer in Pint Please. Best before 6/2023 Temperature: +13 C Brown color with red hues. Small, but creamy tan head that leaves behind a small lace: 4,25/5 The nose has a soft and sweet Sherry aroma with notes of vanilla and oak. Behind those barrel notes are shades of brown sugar, bready maltiness, and sugar-coated plums. Quite nice and multilayered but could be just a bit more intense: 3,75/5 The mouthfeel is medium-full, round with some oaky feel to it. Both carbonation and bitterness are shy, but still present. Flows nicely: 4/5 The taste has Sherry sweetness, malt, mild chocolate, fruits, oak, and subtle vanilla tones. Not as complex as the scent but I accept: 11/15 Pretty good Barleywine. Somewhat careful and subtle but still has lots of things to it. Most likely this has some aging potential: 15/20 =38/50
