Limpid amber beer fills the glass from the tap. A creamy head manages to exceed one finger. Retention is long as the surface enjoys a neat lace ring and frazil-icy haze for long.
Smoke emanates to the nostrils determinedly. It's slightly sweet-leaning and portraits a mere faint whisper of cured ham. The malt plays definitely in the background but stays more in the shadows than in the limelight.
The tongue loves the hefty smoky flavor. It's definitely smoked malt, not ham. A hoppy twist is decent, not too overwhelming but not absent either.
The body is light-medium. The finish is like a hopped lager, the smoky element shrinks to the minimum and gains a bitter gown. The aftertaste can't stop her once it starts coz' she's smoke.
The mouthfeel is relatively light, smoky, a bit rustic and remotely coarse. Nice!

Lomanavausolut!
Savuinen versio Hagalund hellesistä, paahteus voisi jopa tulla voimakkaamminkin esille, mutta on kyllä miellyttävä ja savukinkkuinen tälleenkin.
