Hyvää perus tekemistä 😃

I'm still undecided on Whiplash artwork, I suppose I like it more than I dislike it. Poured as well as one could expect, body is a shade of mellow yellow with a thick creaminess and a half finger of white foam. Scents are mild pine followed by a sharp wheat kick which then eases into the fruitiness, lots of peach, some apricot, melon and lychee. Mouthfeel is a little flat but has a smooth creaminess from oats. A little trace of carbonation lingers but it's quickly washed out. Taste is a dual hit of creaminess and fruitiness as the oat characteristics and stonefruit profiles play very well together. Lots of peach and apricot first with slight pine resin but they are here not carried on the oat and malt base, rather they exist in equal measure to them. There's lots of sweet notes without an equal amount of bitter notes but the sweetness doesn't overwhelm. A peculiar but tasty ipa.
