Discovery Twelve was born from the experience and recipes of Party Animals and Party Alone, our first DDH IPAs with rye. To balance the dryness we get from this ingredient we chose, by contrast, a mix of hops (Simcoe, Cashmere, El Dorado) that give a feeling of fullness, ripe fruit, peach, apricot and mango. The result is a fresh but intense beer that maintains the creaminess typical of our DDH IPAs.
