At my daughter and son-in-law's house in Texas having our fifth beer share of the afternoon. Sadly the Spencer American Trappist brewery is calling it quits. What a shame that they did not get enough support to stay open. Frothy head that is sticking to the side of the glass. Citrus aroma. Orange opaque hazy color. Flavor is dominated by the hops. Level of bitterness is at the limit of my tolerance. No added ingredients to adorn the taste. All comes from the hops. Soft, some roasted traits, some faint back end citrus. IPA people should enjoy this but there are a lot of less bitter IPAs now that I can enjoy much more.
