Olut on väriltään samea, sakkainen, punertavanruskea ja vähä vaahtoinen olut. Tuoksu happaman vadelmainen Maku on hapan, hivenen suolaisuutta löytyy. Vadelma dominoi kyllä makua. Vaisu olut, jonka jälkimaussa on mummonmehun kaltaista katkeruutta.

Happy Finnish Beer Day 2021! 🇫🇮🍺 This brew displays murky ruby with a gentle purple tint. Shy carbonation manages to lay a thin, short-lived head on the surface. The first olfactory punch is appealing like fresh picked raspberries from the garden. After a few sniffs, I start finding citrusy nuances, especially lemon and grapefruit juice. The taste profile shows sour elements to a good extent: raspberry is again inseparable but the grapefruit zest comes forward much more bravely now. A reasonable dollop of lemon juice escorts the two. The body is light. The finish gears even more citrusy whereas raspberry almost fades in the shadows. Well, not entirely... The aftertaste wants to visit a typical 1960s suburb in the home city of Pint Please, and the friendly local aboriginals guide it to Tuira. Whoaah. The mouthfeel is light, tart, puckering, acidic and a tad astringent. It's very juicy, rich in berries and refreshing like a summery garden. The combination of raspberry and grapefruit wouldn't come to my mind as a huge success factor but it actually functions greatly. NOTE: The barcode leads to an earlier version with the ABV of 4.5 %.

Greippi ei onneksi maistu, vadelma kyllä. Hapanta ja kirpsakkaa.

Hyvää on. Hyvää. Ruoanlaiton lomassa hupeni pottu huomaamatta.
