Having this 903 Brewers beer on Duo with my son-in-law. This is a pretty good Texas Brewery. Open the can and get a strong maple aroma and it's boozy. Pours with a small head that disappears. Intense maple flavor combined with a high alcohol presence. Texture is heavy. Exceedingly sweet. This is like drinking maple syrup with a couple of shots of booze added. Bittersweet toward the finish. Finish does expose a roasted coffee. As the beer warms up in the glass, by the fourth sip I was getting the blueberry aroma and flavor, hiding underneath the dominant maple. I feel like this beer was overdone. Too sweet, too heavy, too syrupy and not enough blueberry to be significant. If they could have thinned it down a bit I could have given it a higher rating.
