Flight 2/4 (1). Cloudy, deep yellow beer with a moderate velvety head only. Medium retention. The scent is very melony: I observe cantaloupe and honeydew as well as faint peach, coconut and green grape. Interesting. Let me sip, this is appealing to me. I pick grapefruit pulp, pineapple that is not exactly ripe but anyway, dank weed and lemon zest. Coconut disappears at this stage. Light body, which is surprising since this has a bigger ABV than the first beer. The finish is grapefruity and lemony, predominantly. A hint of hop burn signals its presence. The mouthfeel is juicy, pulpy, dank, dry, drying and crisp. Quite a delicacy this one, too.

Très bonne NEIPA DDH, on est clairement sur du fruit jaune, c'est frais et fruité, un poil amère pour une NEIPA mais c'est tout de même très sympa

Vor dem Verfallsdatum retten will ich das Histoire d'Amour von Fauve aus 🇫🇷. Mal sehen, ob dieses 6,5% starke NEIPA DDH wieklich eine Liebesgeschichte wird. Im Glas steht es schonmal schön gelb und Juicy, wobei der weiße Schaum dann doch schnell gen Äther entweicht. Aromatechnisch gibt es die volle Partitur an Tropicfrüchten, wobei Orange und Mango für meinen Gusto hervorzustechen scheinen. Am Gaumen ist das NEIPA erwartungsgemäß samtweich und fruchtig, gediegen und hopfig. Da spielen im hinteren Teil Sabro, Mosaic und Simcoe ihr Spektrum gut aus. Die feine Citrus-Note verleiht dem Histoire d'Amour eine Schönen Frische-Kick. Gutes NEIPA, ob es sich zur Love-Story eignet, dürft ihr gern selbst entscheiden.
