This one tasted just like an espresso. You don’t taste the chocolate base at all. Smells of strong coffee. Tastes of strong coffee. Long bitter finish. Not much of an alcohol taste. But it’s amazing how coffee forward they made this beer! Very fun to taste.

At Guadalupe Brewing Company with my niece in New Braunfels Texas. Third stout on a flight of four. First two were excellent, can this continue? Dark brown opaque color. The aroma is a large burst of coffee. Wow!! This isn't beer, this is a freshly brewed, very strong, cup of roasted coffee. Chocolate base disappears. Alcohol is hidden. Not sweet at all, just a little roasted bitterness. Intense coffee flavor from start to finish. I've had a lot of coffee beers but never one as intensely coffee as this. Absolutely loved it. Can't believe how good these first three stouts were. Looking forward to more.
