Public Garden
7.0% New England IPA / Hazy IPA
Established two centuries after the Common, Boston's Public Garden became the first public botanical garden in America in 1837. Located in the heart of our city, it's a key piece of the Emerald Necklace and features many of Boston's iconic sights such as the Swan Boats and the Make Way for Ducklings statues. Presenting a sunny, honey-yellow color, Public Garden utilizes Mosaic and Strata to conjure a fairly complex bouquet of aromas. Tropical notes of candied pineapple and juicy mango lead the way, with underlying tones ranging from bright citrus, canned peach, cantaloupe, and a soft, woody earthiness adding intrigue to each sip. Dry and gently bitter, Public Garden finishes medium-bodied and easy-drinking.

BEER: Public Garden BREWERY: Trillium Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: NEIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 7.0% COLOUR (EBC): Orange Juice Yellow (16.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Nice one, although bit mild. Ripe fruity and berry kind of mixture. Bit dank. HEAD: One finger tall. Quite swift to disappear. GREY’S VIEW Mosaic & Strata hopped NEIPA. Taste presents smashed pineapple, hints of grapefruit juice and berry leaf like of feel. It’s simple and dry hopping handles much in this one. Mouthfeel is pleasant anyway with lively and small bubbles. Aftertaste giving dry hops more in a form of kiwi and cantaloupe. OTHER NOTES: Public Garden - Part of Emerald Necklace Series. Well it’s NEIPA. Decent to enjoy, but nothing that special to me. CANNED 13/4/2021 TASTED 3/6/2021
