Very weighty pour and a remarkable amount of carbonation. Body is a dark yellow, almost orange with no head. Scent is rich malt, sweet caramel, subtle wheat and slight banana, all fused with the warmth from the alcohol. The body feels very heavy but is smooth as the bubbles have dissipated and leaves an oily coating in the mouth. Taste is very luxurious, a wheat/weiss base, warm alcohol with slight pepper comes forward and it all rounds on a sweet caramel finish. Not an authentic monastic beer, but a great tripel.

Reminds me of Afligem, which I used to drink at a late night bowling bar when I lived in France, and would wake up with no memory of getting home. But at least I got home.
