Dry-hopped with Motueka, Second Derivative is a 6.0% IPA that presents a beautiful light straw color. The aroma offers nuance, shifting from a citrus-fueled lemon-lime character upfront to a more tropical, juicy pineapple approach on the back of each sip. GREY’S VIEW
Motueka dry hopped IPA.
Ok, I need to remember that this is IPA.
Flavours are on the dank side, giving piney and resiny feel firstly. There’s also the basics: grapefruit, tangerine and lemon peel found on this one. Some hints of tropicality is there too. Clearly a easy and delightful thirst quencher. Body is light with easy mouthfeel, happy to say that dry hopping is perfected in this one. Lightly white bready and somewhat crunchy, besides the main elements, at the end.
OTHER NOTES:
Brewed to support the family of Proclamation Ale founder, Dave Witham who passed away in December 2020.
After reading the backstory from this beer, I knew I needed to have this. Support ✊🏼
