As soon as I opened the can I was getting the smell of pretzel. Tastes like roasted peanuts, pretzel, light roasted malt with hints of chocolate. Unfortunately it’s a bit artificial tasting which seems to get worse as it warms.
Overall it’s okay at best but I wouldn’t seek.

Picked up a pack of these at Speck’s to split with a friend. It’s definitely a sipping beer but as they got warmer, they didn’t start tasting bad. Imo when it’s cold, it’s more PB. When warm, it’s more pretzel.

It’s a great beer but definately weird. The pretzel flavor comes through very well but not in an off putting way. Not something I’d buy again for myself but an awesome experience and gifting beer.

In Houston at my son-in-law's and daughter's house having another good heavy stout.
Aroma with a strong peanut butter with some chocolate. Opaque brown color. Not a very thick texture. Flavor has an intense peanut butter combined with intensely dry bitter raw cocoa. Has an intensely dry bitterness that's unusual for any stout that has chocolate in it.
I normally love chocolate or peanut butter stouts but this one reminds me of what a chocolate peanut butter IPA might turn out to be. Not enjoying it at all.
