Here’s my first try with Humble Sea Brewing (est.2015). They are from Santa Cruz, CA, USA. BEER: Happy Krillmore BREWERY: Humble Sea Brewing Co. BEER STYLE: NEDIPA COUNTRY: USA ALCOHOL (ABV): 8.5% COLOUR (EBC): Monkish Yellow (12.5) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - SCENT: Mango purée with orange and a twist of lemons. FOAM: Half a finger, tiny bubbled and swift. GREY’S VIEW Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe & Sabro DDH NEDIPA. First sip goes in and...we have a fully hazy NEDIPA here. Yammy stuff, again yeah. Flavours grows up nicely; first wave giving mango, orange juice and peach. Then comes the fresh lemon juice, white grapes and herbal grassyness. It’s really smooth and juicy this one. Body is medium+, with nice creamyness and some drying sensation from the DDH. Aftertaste has smooth fruitmix mash, with a tickleing dry hopping. OTHER NOTES: Happy Krillmore is I/II part from movie reference beers. Of course to the angriest golfer, Adam Sandler and his movies; Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore.
