Here’s a collaboration Imperial Stout from few of the best ones in the US. No adjuncts in this one. BEER: Bubble Wrap BREWERY: Other Half X The Veil X WeldWerks BEER STYLE: Imperial Stout (Bourbon BA) COUNTRY: USA ALCOHOL (ABV): 13.2% COLOUR (EBC): Oily Black (90.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Beautiful. Deep and dark souled. FOAM: Pretty much nonexistent. Dark brown the while it goes by. GREY’S VIEW Imperial Stout bleded in different age of Bourbon Barrels. Ok, before I go, I need to say that the breweries in this one are all top notch. Everyone knows Other Half and most also The Veil, but the Weldwerks is incredible too! I remember their master brewer (/owner) is mathematician who likes to calculate everything when he creates these beings. Impressive. And tastefull. But yeah. Let’s have a try. Ooooomph....it’s a barrel forwarded beauty infront of us. Just what I wished! Taste has the freshest leafiness, some dry and mineral piled earthiness, dark sugary molasses and oil propably taken from the North Korean rockets! Yarr! Chocolate is evident as are the hints of caramel and toffee. I also get some tiny trifle of dark coffee grit. 🔔 Time out! Time the frikin’ out! Looks like we’re having a massive brew with incredible ingredients and talent in using them. Tasting this sort of beers is always a blessing. 🔔 Mouthfeel is a tad fast to me. I’d love it to be slightly slower to enjoy. Tastes are just so incredible. Bubbles are tiny and the overall feel is easy and lively. Lively yeah. Aftertaste has chocolate cookies, lip gluing sugars, distant, but clear feel of the purest forest and all that wilderness. I’m in Love. OTHER NOTES: These collabs are often a miss, but I have to say that the few of the latest, which I have had, had been simply astonishing pieces!
