The beer pours relatively hazy, rowanberry juice colored. Carbonation fizzes nicely and releases a cloud-white, small-bubbled head that fails to reach one finger's measure. Soon a thin lace ring circles the surface while a haze wafts like the last melting snow spot.
The nose receives a medley of strawberry and raspberry, neither being abundant. A wheaty bed is recognizeable, as well. A further note of vanilla steps out of the crowd later.
The level of sourness is rather high, which is a bit of surprise for a Berliner Weisse. Strawberry is evident but the other berries remain difficult to point out exactly. The label says that there should additionally be blueberry and raspberry. I can't say that I'd find them. Instead I can pick rowanberry. The wheat malt tries to cushion the sourness but the success remains wanting.
The body is light. The finish carries unchanged from upfront and brings in an additional twist of redcurrant. Perhaps raspberry can also be detected. The aftertaste blends various berries in a good old grandma style and the tastebuds are yelling excitedly for a short while.
The mouthfeel is light, tart, a tad puckering and moderately effervescent. It's juicy, gardeny and summery. Quite okay albeit not a big wow.

Ekat siemaukset on aika pirtelömäisiä, vanilja maistuu aika hyvin. Tuoksussakin on vähän kermaisuutta. Maku on turhan valju muutaman suullisen jälkeen, marjoista vadelma ehkä maistuu eniten, happamuutta on ihan sopivasti.

Marjaisa maku, mutta mustikan ja vadelman lisäksi ei oikein muita makuja löydy
