For this first exceptional Cuvée Prestige, we let the Gulden Draak Classic mature for another 8 weeks after the lagering in specially selected Bourbon barrels. These barrels come from America and were only used twice in the original distillery. After maturation, the beer undergoes its classic secondary fermentation with the unique and own wine yeast, which will ensure a perfect balance. The typical taste characteristics of the Gulden Draak Classic harmonize perfectly with the warm notes of honey, raisins, vanilla and wood (and the slightly sweet aromas) of the Bourbon barrels. We can therefore safely speak of an extra refined barley wine, a delicious and original tasting beer, to be enjoyed in moderation!
