For Halloween, it only feels right to utilize blood orange, pairing it with mango and pineapple to create a Daily Serving that drinks like an adult fruit punch juice box. Pouring an apricot-colored orange with a slight haze, the nose is incredibly vibrant. Juicy blood orange, with its subtle hints of raspberry, greet the palate first. As the beer opens up, a tropical wave of candied mango and pineapple smoothie wash over each sip. Blood orange, mango and pineapple built and CTZ hopped Fruited Berliner Weisse. Halloween 2020 beer from Trillium.
Beautifully well rounded first bite. Yammy stuff! First comes the juicier part with mango, orange, pineapple mix which is followed by a healthy feel of tarty blood orange and pineapple peel. Mouthfeel is juicy and rapid with main part passing by quickly. Carbonation is at medium+ level and the zesty part is well present. Body is medium-light. Aftertaste has juicy mango, some orange juice, whole blood oranges and some drying sensation to the end.
OTHER NOTES:
This is entirely tropical beer with nicely pungent profile.
