Aloitellaan iltaa Monkishin ja Veilin tekemällä collabilla. Kyseessä on Citralla, Galaxylla ja Mosaicilla humaloitu New England- tyylinen Triple IPA. Kuulostaa loistavalta, ja muutkin ovat tästä kovin pitäneet. Tölkitetty 03/12/20, joten ikää tänään tasan 4 viikkoa. Se on usein sopiva aika näille todella reilusti humaloiduille yksilöille. Olut kaatuu lasiin upean ja kirkkaan keltaisena ja on täysin samean mehuisaa sekä paksua. Pinnalle nousee lähes kaksi sormea korkea vaalea vaahto hetkeksi. Tuoksu on monipuolinen, pehmeä ja saumaton. Runsaasti raikasta appelsiinia, persikkaa, ananasta ja kiwiä. Vastapainoksi kevyttä yrttisyyttä, humalakäpyisyyttä ja makeutta. Oikein loistava ja miellyttävä. Maussa ensimmäisenä eteen astuu huomattavan kova ja runsas humalointi. Aavistuksen kuivahko humalakäpyisyys sivaltaa syvältä, mutta sangen nopeasti. Tuon jälkeen maku kääntyy raikkaamman hedelmä puolelle. Appelsiinia, kiwiä, ananasta ja persikkaa. Jälkimaku kääntyy taas kuivahkon yrttisyyden ja ruohoisuuden puolelle. Suutuntuma on keskivertoa ja alkoholi on mukavasti piilossa. Miellyttävä ja voisko sanoa helppo Triple IPA jälleen Monkishilta. Rungon puolesta tämä jää aavistuksen piippuun, ja olisinkin kaivannut vielä paksumpaa hedelmäsoppaa. Kovasti vastakohtaiset maut ovat melko hyvin saatu punottua yhteen, mutta siirtymä huikallisen aikana ei ole ihan yhtä täydellinen kuin parhaissa. Kaikesta tästä huolimatta tämä on todella hyvää ja vaarallisen helposti nautittavaa olutta.

Monkishin ja Veilin collab on kerännyt kehuja täällä sekä Untappdin puolella. Tölkitetty 3.12. Humalina kaikille tutut Citra, Galaxy ja Mosaic. Upean keltainen väri ja normikokoinen vaahto. Tuoksu on todella upea. 😍 Kyllä nämä kolme ”vanhan liiton” humalaa edelleen osaa yllättää. Hedelmäisyys on tuhtia ja monipuolista. Maussa vasta monipuolisuus korostuukin. Passionia, mandariinia, appelsiinia, kiwiä... aikalailla upea humalakeitto. Sopivan katkeroinen ja tarpeeksi makea ja monipuolinen olut. Nam. 💪😘

Tölkitetty 3.12.2020 ollen nyt noin 2,5 viikkoista. Monkishin ja Veilin collab. Tuoksu on erittäin mieluisa ja mehuisan herkullinen. Hieman ohkainen ollakseen 10,4%, mutta alkoholin lämmittävyys tuntuu nielussa. Tarjolla on todella paljon kuivattavan hapanta hedelmälihaista greippisyyttä sitruunalla ja appelsiinilla, lisänä hedelmistä ananasta sekä kevyesti aprikoosia ja mangoa. Havua ja lehtistä yrttisyyttä. Greippistä katkeroa on runsaammin. Mallasta löytyy taustalta. Odotuksia oli arviontihetken Untappd-keskiarvon 4,50 kanssa, jotka eivät ihan täysin toteutuneet. Alkoholinen polte on suht selkeä osa kokonaisuutta ja makumaailma vähän liikaa pelkästään sitrushedelmiin keskittyvä.

The glass is filled with fully impenetrable, thick nectar that looks like mandarin juice. Only the pulp bits are missing. The carbonation is lively, though not particularly extrovert, and unleashes a creamy head that attains two fingers' height. Retention is fairly long as the shrunken foam leaves a lovely haze lingering on the top and clings upwards towards the wall of the glass. The scent smashes a seductive medley of dry-hoppy dankness and tropical fruity nuances to my nose. First the hoppy side tries to occupy the driving seat but the balance is quickly gained as the fruits manage to fight their position back. Piney aromas are absent. Alongside the dank weeds I'm getting pineapple and carambola, accompanied by less prominent notes of galia melon and raw mango. Tropical cheers from the south. 💛💛 The tongue waits impatiently to be lulled to the sunny dreamland. Now the astonishingly abundant dankness of the dry hops spreads to every nook of the mouth. The fruity sphere falls in subordination and portrays only raw produce: pineapple zest, lemon pith and grapefruit peel. A pinch of mango possibly fools around but, generally speaking, there's no sweetness at all in the palate. The ABV (10.4 %) is entirely hidden. The tropical heat is cooled down to some extent. This beauty displays a relatively full body as to a DIPA. The end glide intensifies the dry-hoppy punch and scatters the fruity remainders in the distance. A whisper of hop burn reminds my throat of itself. The aftertaste feels the humidity of the rising morning dew for quite a long time. The mouthfeel is rather full, somewhat intense, very dank and reasonably crisp. It's also a tad dry and warming. It still shows tropical, substantially zesty and pithy characteristics although this is by no means a fruit bomb. Neither is this particularly old-school. Something inbetween, like a hybrid. All in all, attractively tasty. 💛🧡💛

As if sirens were calling with their baskets full of fruits and citruses. Delightful and very tempting. FOAM: Nonexistent. GREY’S VIEW Citra, Galaxy & Mosaic hopped NETIPA. My predictions were rite, when I saw that The Veil had collabed this one. It is the smoothest joose! And beyond! Flavors presents pure dragonfruit, freshly squeezed lemon juice and the dankest; almost swampy feel of moist forest bed. Oomph! It is still at this level of awareness, where we are, but god dammit! Smooth and vibrant stuff. Almost heavenly! Mouthfeel is piled with the tiniest bubbles which are playful and bounded into body that is almost thick, yeah, almost. Hopping rate is next to perfect with the slightest sensation of dryeness, but staying at the background all the way. Flavors are strong and they just keep on progressing. Dried cantaloupe, juicy dragonfruit, grassyness and the strong bed of dank forestry feel are the final ones that I come up with. OTHER NOTES: This has to be the best collab beer I’ve ever tasted.
