This is another one of the beers I brought back from Texas. 903 Brewery from Sherman Texas. Begins with a relatively small head, deep chocolate in color. Dissipates in a short amount of time. Very strong aroma of chocolate and maybe licorice? Texture is medium heavy and very creamy. Flavor is bittersweet cocoa and what I can only describe as raw vanilla, not the processed kind. A little alcohol and then finishes with all the same flavors until an abrupt dry ending. The intense raw vanilla flavor stands out as the unique flavor beyond the cocoa. I've had many oatmeal stouts but this one is very different. Enjoyed it very much.
