Flight 3/4 looks seductive: impenetrable, deep balmy yellow with a faint milky hue. Absolutely the longest retention. The foamy lid is dense moussy, exceeds one finger and is long-sustained indeed.
What looks beautiful doesn't always satisfy my other senses. Namely, the olfactory supply is astonishingly weak. Difficult to get anything. A remote floral note is the only variable I'm able to observe here. Disappointing big time.
I was hoping that the tastebuds would dance to the end of love. Well, they don't. No need to dance with this cocktail. I'm getting mango, passionfruit, grapefruit, lemon and spruce. But nothing seductive. Whoaah. This is probably not my day?
The body is light. Given the ABV, this feels substandard. The aftertaste is a tad sour. I associate it with passionfruit and citruses. This is classified as an American IPA but it also portrays characteristics of a Sour IPA in my opinion.
The mouthfeel is light, somewhat dry, drying and remotely crisp. Zesty. Like I said, this lets me down, it has to be reflected in the rating. Sorry.
