Once again, we partner with Barrington Coffee Roasters to brew Night & Day. In order to reach the higher gravity and fuller-body of this massive imperial stout we employ a reiterated mash technique that allows us to create an unusually rich, high gravity, 100% malt wort. Pouring raven-black with a persistent creamy pale-brown head, Night & Day is seductive with aromatics of roasted dark malt, espresso, caramel, cocoa powder, dark fruit, charred toast, and subtle sweet vanilla. At a soul-warming ABV of 11.5%, this bold, imperial stout drinks velvety smooth with mellow bitterness, silky carbonation, and balanced flavors of dark roast coffee, chocolate, figs, affogato and black cherry.

Tuoksussa mallasta, kahvia, paahdettua ohraa, kevyesti maitosuklaata ja lämmetessään esiin tulee rusinaa. Suht mieto ja yksinkertainen tuoksu.
Maku on tuoksua moninaisempi; makeaa suklaata, pehmeän paahteista kahvia, paahteista ohraa, hieman kitkeryyttä ja alkoholia lopussa.
Pehmeä ja täyteläinen tekstuuri. Öljyinen.

Miellyttävä kylmän kahvinen tuoksu,missä vähän lakritsiin viittaavaa fibaa ja vähän outoa kumisuutta myös.
Maku on kyllä uskomattoman pehmeätä ja samalla kivasti vähän lämmittävää vaikkei 12.5% maistu laisinkaan lävitse.
Tuoksun elementit maussakin esillä,lisäksi tietenkin maitosuklaista kahvia lakritsin fiballa.Tavallaan Yksinkertainen mutta silti vallan mainio ööli 😘🍻Pakko myöntää että sitä samaa jännää kumisuutta mitä tuoksussakin oli löydän maustakin🤷♂️.Maun puolelle se sopii vain vähän paremmin kuin tuoksuun.

Opaque, medium-black beer with languid carbonation lays a latte-hued moderate lacing that dies rushedly to zero. No splashes are left behind.
The fragrance puts forward powerful cold-brew coffee and a good amount of lactose. Not sure if lactose is there. Probably not. Or can't tell. Cacao powder and a roasty aroma add their nuances to the palette. Simply mouthwatering although this still hasn't reached my taste receptors.
Once again, the taste overkills the fragrance with a massive volume. Mocha is sweet, a tad sugared and hefty. Raw chocolate, raw cacao powder and lofty roasted coffee beans add their own aromas to the package. Maybe a bit of vanilla enters the scene in the background.
The body is full. The concoction finishes with loads of dark chocolate, raw cacao powder, reasonably rich coffee and a note of vanilla. The aftertaste brews coffee for the tastebuds over long time.
The mouthfeel is full, oily, thick and somewhat sticky. Lip-glueing as well. Strongly desserty and slow.

Imperial Stout flavored with cold brewed coffee.
Mouthfeel is really saviour at first! Roasty and a bit of rustic. Lovely stuff actually. Malts are roasted as well as the coffee is. The flavor profile is simple, but the execution is spot on, making this delightfully roasty IS.

Impressive brew. Oily and roasty at the same point.
