They brew different batches of their stout. Batch 2 was aged on cassia bark and Ugandan vanilla beans

Wow does this have cinnamon.... Heavy cinnamon with a light vanilla bean taste. Not much more to it as the cinnamon just dominates hiding any other aspect you might enjoy except the vanilla. It does hide the alcohol well so maybe there is one other aspect.
It says this was aged on “cassia bark and vanilla beans”. I guess cassia bark has something to do with cinnamon since it is so prevalent. Not my thing
I googled cassia bark and it is a type of cinnamon (lower quality) but is not considered good for you in high quantities. Why would you use it in a beer if it is an inferior spice ????? Maybe it is common in brewing & I never knew it
