This brewery has just managed to get licensing to be able to serve glasses of beer instead if just flights, so I thought I'd stop in to take advantage of that.
Their newest seasonal release is lightly purplish tinted copper orange.
It starts with a nice head that eventually becomes a respectable layer that laces quite well.
I didn't get a lot of aroma but what little there was gave bready nutty malt with a hint of BlackBerry.
The flavour is berry forward but very subtle hinting at some tartness but not manifesting. Nutty biscuit malt lays heavy as a base. There is some dry astringent aftertaste to that compliments the berry. It might.be just me but it seems to me that red arrows beers have lost a certain depth lately.
