Onto something new. I found a new hazy IPA from Yards and grabbed a 6 pack immediately. I guess in these Covid days we are going thru I was thrilled to find something new since beer shopping is the only thing I leave my house for. Add that Yards is usually awesome & a mainstay in the Philly area, yes a sixer is what I grabbed. Obviously I’m setting up a disappointment here. My best description is that it is a lemon lime soda beer. Yes, it has lemon. It has lime. A touch of a “beer” taste. I’d love to venture farther into this description but there is nothing else there. In fact I’m probably insulting lemon lime soda here. Calling this a hazy IPA is a travesty. The shame is most Yards are awesome & Philly strong. At best it is a girly girl beer. Maybe that is what they were going for. I’m giving it a .4 since I do like lemon & lime. From a beer perspective it gets a zero. What sucks is I have 5 more to go. Ugh. 🤯👎🏻
