This was released last year from Yards to celebrate the Eagles Super Bowl victory last year. I was drinking as I’ve had quite a few times and was wondering what I rated it. Looks like I never have. So here we go. This has a tropical taste that leans towards pineapple, light mango with hints of lemon that has a very light dankness to it. Has a hint of pine. Hoppy bitterness is light+ that lingers. Has a touch of a caramel malt that adds some counteracting sweetness. Overall this is really nice. The lingering hoppy taste is great. It is not a hop bomb tho as it has some nice supporting malty sweetness. Hoppy but well rounded. Easy drinker. Date on can is 10/31/25

Christmas Advent beer #24. This has some light+ roasted malt, light chocolate with light hints of Christmas spices that lean towards cinnamon and nutmeg.. I liked it a little better this time. Still nothing great. Merry Christmas.

Now at my daughters house and she handed me this beer to drink. To my surprise I never had. This has a fruity/citrus taste that is your normal hazy taste that leans towards mango, pineapple and orange zest. Some others are there too but are very subtle. Bitterness is light+. Kind of your atypical hazy but is done well. Canned date 3/24/25.

Sitting here with some Yard variety beers and enjoying the Alabama vs Georgia & Oregon vs Penn State games. I was curious what I rated the beer before. Looks I never did. Shocked as Yards is staple around here and have put down thousands of them to say the least. Enough of the prologue. This is an excellent old school English style IPA. Has a caramel and toasted bread malt that is semi-sweet. Hoppy side is grapefruit with hints of orange zest. Medium bitterness. Has a nice dose of pine. It’s malty, hoppy, piney - all with an equal balance that just meshes well. An old school favorite. No date.
