Bourbon, chocolate, cherries and vanilla are all present in the aroma to varying levels. Some oak as well. Promising start. Taste has sweet cherries immediately followed by bourbon. Chocolate and vanilla are next to show up, finishing with oak from the barrel aging. Some heat on the way down the throat. Light cherries, bourbon and oak linger in the aftertaste. Body is full and the carbonation is appropriately lower. This is pretty good. The cherry is borderline medicinal, but not quite. The balance is pretty good. So much flavor without any one flavor dominating. I enjoy this and am glad to have tried it. 4.25/5
