I really enjoyed the Tahitian Vanilla version of this, so I had high exceptions for this one as well! Enjoyed in the sun while reading the latest issue of Beer & Brewing magazine. This one had a lovely opaque orange color, with a foam of one finger. A burst of sweet and fresh tropical fruits in the aroma; mango, papaya, pineapple and orange. Some vanilla and sweet lactose in the background. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Taste starts with sweet, ripe tropical fruits such as mango, cantaloupe and apricots. I love how well the sweet vanilla compliments the fruitiness, and together with the sweetness of lactose, this tastes like a smoothie. Some honey, grapefruit and slight grassiness in the aftertaste. It is the vanilla that makes this beer delicious and exiting! Enjoyed it! 😋

Another Trillium opens now. The beer pours turbid, deep yellow to pale orange. The quick, somewhat abrupt carbonation lays a cloud-white, fluffy head that falls short of half a finger's yardstick. The head dissipates rather rapidly to a thin lacing on top. I can only observe several tiny lace dots on the wall of the glass afterwards. The nose is unexpectedly soft juicy: it's most likely a consequence of lactose and vanilla. The gustatory supply contains mango, pineapple, cantaloupe, grapefruit and lemon. Honey greets the taste receptors from a distance. The sugary lactose and vanilla may fool my senses so that the fruity sphere feels sweeter and more tropical than what it actually is. Well, whatever the reason might be, the scent is a siren song to my nostrils. 💛💛 The gustatory universe follows the same road: nice soft DDH lies embedded in the fruity palette of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, lemon and cantaloupe. All of them have appealingly juicy nuances. Faint ideas of mandarin, nectarine and orange pop up occasionally. Honey can at least be imagined if not tasted. Vanilla and lactose I can't distinguish as such but the general remotely sweet impression gives a suggestion of their presence. Interestingly, this time the taste also offers more dimensions than the scent. The body is medium. The beer ends with somewhat bitter grapefruit peel, raw pineapple and mango as well as bitter citrus pith. DDH is still inviting and astonishingly unchallenging. Hop burn is mild but detectable. The aftertaste roughens the tastebuds' life over medium duration at maximum. The mouthfeel is juicy, tropical, faintly lip-glueing and slightly chewy. It's also medium-crisp, really soft, nicely smooth and a tad warming. Winner! 💛💛💛 Thank you, ....., for the lovely drink! 👍🏻

Selkeästi Galaxy ja Mosaic kärkinen, mutta myös hieman karkkinen, lehtoinen, sokerinen ja kevyesti vaniljakukkainen. VAAHTO: Kahden sormen mittainen, kauniin pitsin jättävä. Melko nopea ja ilmava. GREY’S VIEW Nyt päästiinkin Karibialle yhdellä siemauksella. Onpa mukavasti tuollainen drinkkimäinen viba tässä kokonaisuudessaan. Maussa hunaja tulee hyvin, mukana myös kedonkukkia, ananaspyrettä, aprikoosia, appelsiinia ja mandariinia. Runko on kuohkean maltainen, keskisuurilla hiilihapoilla, mitkä vatkaavat kyllä maltaan kanssa kerrassaan lumoavalla tavalla yhteen. Täyteläistä ja ehtaa DIPAa se on muutoinkin. Loppumaussa edelleen hedelmäisyyttä, miellyttävää humalan puraisua, kepeää vaniljaraastetta, aavistus lehtoisuutta ja krokanttisuutta. MUUTA MAINITTAVAA: Galaxy & Mosaic humaloitu, villikukkien hunajalla ja vaniljalla maustettu DIPA. En cocktaileja tunne, mutta kyllä tämä lähes sellaisesta menisi.
