Vaihteeksi Trilliumia lasiin. Heidän näkemys karkauspäivän oluesta. Humaloitu Galaxylla ja Simcoella. Tölkitetty 28/02/20, joten ikää tänään tasan 6 viikkoa. Olut kaatuu lasiin todella vaalean ja samean keltaisena. Olut on kuin hedelmäsosetta. Pinnalle ei muodostu käytännössä mitään vaahtoa. Tuoksu on miellyttävän trooppinen. Appelsiinia, mangoa, persikkaa, kiwiä, verkkomelonia ja ananasta. Todella raikas ja kutsuva. Maku on todella runsaasti humaloidun humalakäpyinen, mutta mitään hopburnia ei esiinny. Humalatykityksen jälkeen maku kääntyy trooppisen hedelmäsalaatin puolelle. Tarjolla on appelsiinia, greipinkuorta, ananasta, verkkomelonia, papaijaa ja mangoa. Jälkimaussa on kuivaa katkeroa ja vaaleaa yrttisyyttä. Suutuntuma on paksun mehuisa ja happoja on todella vähän. Alkoholi on hienosti piilossa. Tämä varmasti jakaa taas porukan kahtia. Kuivahumalointi on todella runsasta, ja saattaa pelottaa osaa maistajista. Tässä on sellaista alkukantaista fiilistä kivasti, ja itselleni ainakin toimii mukavasti. Laadukas ja hieno olut.

Time to crack open something tasty. I mean TASTY! Turbid beer that is first pale yellow but surprisingly turns to very deep yellow to pale orange a minute later. The beer also gets a hair-thin milky hue. Beautiful!  💛 The carbonation is moderate and rapid and manages to set a big-bubbled head that falls short of half a finger's height. The head melts rushedly to zero, leaving absolutely nothing on the wall of the glass. The nose waits impatiently what the brew has to offer. It's a tropical fruit nectar, of course! I find generous amounts of pineapple, mango and cantaloupe. I can easily pick grapefruit pulp, lemon juice and a bit of orange. Are there also oat flakes among the gustatory elements? As if I got a hunch if them. Attractive tropical sensations this serves. The tongue can't help loving this at first glance: a soft velvety, even a little creamy nectar that is composed of massive grapefruit zest, lemon pulp, raw pineapple and quite distant mango, almost disguised I would say. Dry hops have bravely taken the central position albeit not excessively. Oat flakes are still recognizeable and whirl together with a tiny injection of wheat malt. The palate is still tropical but not as distinctly tropical as the fragrance. The body medium-full. The beer finishes, first and foremost, with fairly powerful hop burn. I like hop burn. In addition, the finish is astonishingly citrusy, zesty for sure, but -- with the exception of raw pineapple --, portrays no other tropical fruit. The oaty twist has diminished substantially but remains identifiable. Dry hops push a pinch of pine needles forward on the sides of the tongue. The aftertaste tickles and warms the tastebuds for a relatively long time. The mouthfeel is crisp but simultaneously soft, smooth and creamy. It is, of course, somewhat piney but also tropical and substantially juicy. The hop burn leaves a nice warming feeling in the throat. Furthermore, the mouthfeel is somewhat dry and a tad mouth-drying. Good stuff again from Massachusetts! 💛😋💛😋💛 Thanks a bunch ..... for the experience. Trillium surely knows the secret of brewing world-class IPA-family beers.

Hyvin pehmeä. VAAHTO: Olematon. GREY’S VIEW Hämmästyttävän vaahdoton olut kaatuu suuhun tuoden mukavan makukirjon mukanaan. Kuivakkaa nektariinia, ananasta, mandariinia, mangoa, kepeää tuorekukkaisuutta taustalla ja kepeää lehvästöä myös. Erittäin miellyttävää makuskaalaa. Suutuntu on kuivahumalointia puhtaimmillaan. Ihastuttavaa kerrassaan. Hiilihapot jäävät unholaan, kun tuntee tuon kuivahumpan kokonaisvaltaisen läsnäolon tässä. Jälkimaussa kuivan puumainen, osaltaan maltainen ja hedelmäsoseinen. Jykevä päätös. MUUTA MAINITTAVAA: Galaxy, Simcoe & CTZ humaloitu DDH DIPA. Trilliumin kaunis näkemys karkauspäivästä. Erittäin onnistunut; hedelmäinen, riittävän kuiva ja jopa yllättävän monipuolinen DIPA.
