Dialed-In (w/ Sauvignon Blanc Grape Juice)
8.5% Imperial IPA / Double IPA
Dialed In is a dank, juicy Double IPA intensively dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy. Pouring a vibrant, hazy gold; aromas of white wine, tropical fruit, and faint pine sap swirl around the nose. To enhance the distinct fruity, white grape flavors of the Nelson Sauvin hop, we integrated Sauvignon Blanc juice mid- fermentation. The addition of the potent Galaxy hop in the secondary dry hop charge provides enhanced notes of bright citrus, mango and over ripe pineapple. Soft and creamy with moderate bitterness; Medium-Light bodied with a crisp, dry finish.

Nämä Dialed-sarjan oluet ovat olleet tähän asti erittäin mieluisia. Nyt vuorossa Nelson Sauvin & Galaxy+ Sauvignon Blanc versio. Kaatui samean vaalean oranssina lasiin. Reilu sormen paksuinen vaahto muodostui oluen pinnalle.

Massively impenetrable, deep yellow to pale orange beer with distinct creamy hue resembles peach-banana-orange fruit smoothie. The surprisingly vocal, long-lasting carbonation unlocks a cream-colored, small-bubbled head that builds itself up to one finger's height. The foamy cap dissolves gradually to a pretty lacing adorning the surface. The lacing rises to the wall of the glass a bit. A number of tiny downpouring splatters can be observed on the glass. The scent is a powerful tropical fruit cocktail: I get almost all fruit that I can imagine but I still try to distinguish them each by each individually in the fragrance. I find bags of peach, apricot, mango, grapefruit, lemon pulp and pineapple, accompanied by less pronounced injections of persimmon, papaya and sweet orange as well as a sigh of mandarin. Sounds ridiculous and unbelievable, I admit, but when I concentrate on each fruit, I catch a bigger or smaller glimpse of each of them. A-m-a-z-i-n-g!  💛💛💛  And that's not even all: of course, there's more or less easily recognizeable amendments of oat flakes, wheat bun and white biscuit. The oaty feature is, nevertheless, milder than I thought. The taste receptors fall in nirvana because of the fruity medley. The tropical package of stone fruit includes delicious mango, peach and nectarine. Moreover, zesty pineapple, a good amount of grapefruit juice and a tad orange pulp accompany the cocktail, followed by pinchy lemon pith. I'm also imagining ghosts of apple, green grape and green gooseberry somewhere behind the curtain. Oat flakes have diminished to some extent albeit still being identifiable. A faint biscuity suggestion creeps into the scene, softened with some lactose. The light-piney hoppy touch can be felt on the tastebuds nicely. Overall, the gustatory profile is deep and multidimensional. No doubt that I love this. 💛 The body is medium. The beer finishes with a tad more bitter grapefruit pith and lemon peel as well as a lovely though shy hop burn that features a pinch of spruce needles and a drop of resin. The tropical universe distances itself entirely from the tongue's reach, leaving the finish relatively simple and straighforward. What a change from the actual taste and especially the fragrance! Still appealing of course. 💛💛 The mouthfeel is astonishingly soft and smooth, quite creamy and substantially tropical. It's also a bit crisp, slightly piney and a bit throat-pinching. Additionally, the mouthfeel is significantly juicy, a tad nectar-like as well as somewhat mouth-drying. A big success indeed! 💛💛💛 Thank you ..... for the beer. Much appreciated! 🙏🏻

OLUT: Dialed In (w/ Sauvignon Blanc Grape Juice) PANIMO: Trillium Brewing Co. OLUTTYYPPI: DIPA MAA: Yhdysvallat VAHVUUS: 8,5% VÄRI (EBC): Aprikoosinkeltainen (21.0) KATKEROT (EBU/IBU): - TUOKSU: Kevyt. Hedelmäinen ja kevyen heinäinen. VAAHTO: Nopea, periaatteessa olematon. GREY’S VIEW Ensipuraisu on kuohkeaa, hedelmäistä ja eteenpäin pyrkivää. Maussa pääosissa pehmeä mango, ananas, kepeä rypäleisyys ja melkoinen määrä humalakatkeroa. Maku kehittyy piiloisesti kohti aina yhtä mainiota heinäistä ja lehtoista tunnelmaa. Sauvignon Blanc mehu on ilmeisen suuressa roolissa tässä, mikä osaltaan saa tämän pistelemään mukavasti suussa, samalla kuitenkin säilyy DIPAmainen ja ennenkaikkea hedelmäinen olemus. Suutuntu on puolitukevan kepeä, runsaalla mukavasti napsaavalla hiilihapolla tuettuna. Jälkituntu on ruraalisen kuivattava, kevyen puhdas mineraalinen, näkkileipäinen. FUN FACT: Sauvignon Blanc rypäle on alkuperäiskasvi läntisessä Ranskassa. Canned 16/12/2019 Tasted 8/1/2020
