Cloudy, deep orange beer with a clean white, fluffy lacing wafting on top.
The nose receives strong fermented sour plum, sour apricot and faint fruit wine.
The taste receptors get puckered by generous, extraordinarily sour fermented apricot and fermented plum, a bit of passionfruit as well as a suggestion of guava. The fruit wine aroma lingers on the taste receptors. The taste profile is quite unique.
The light-bodied beer ends with colossally sour plum and apricot, seasoned with a small amount of passionfruit. The aftertaste kicks the tastebuds' ass for a medium to long time.
The mouthfeel is extremely tart and puckering, a tad acidic, heavily dry and mouth-drying. It's also refreshing, juicy and really funky, which obviously comes at no surprise.
It's probably worth mentioning that pluot is a hybrid fruit of plum and apricot, also known as apriplum and plumcot.
