Must be the bank holiday. Very nice indeed, I had my first real good go at red ales a few weeks back, in Zimbabwe of all places. Really got a taste for them now and this was very nice. Well earned after a cycle up a big duck off hill, nice n strong to help me roll back down again.

It pours dark red, almost brown in colour with a cream coloured head. I am unable to comment on the aroma, due rlto drinking from the can. Flavour is a balance of malts and citrussy hops and a hint of roasted malts.

Kaunis punaruskea olut kaatuu lasiin reippaan tiiviin vaahdon kera, joka kestää kauan. Tuoksussa sitruksia, ananasta ja havuisuutta. Suutuntuma hieman öljyinen. Maussa aluksi mallasta ja puunkuorimainen katkero. Loppua kohden katkero vahvistuvat ja jälkimauksi jää mukava havuisuus. Mallasrunko kuitenkin kepeä. Kokonaisuutena ok. olut. Hieman vetinen ja yksiulotteinen. Olisi kaivannut enemmän makuja.

Une mousse qui s'estompe vite, riche en saveurs, on sent bien le côté IPA, avec une couleur de stout, c'est maîtrisé!

I like it, but it's heavy-going! A very hoppy and bitter Red IPA, it's extremely earthy.
